The SC/ST Cell is established in educational institutions to ensure the welfare, protection and empowerment of students and staff belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). The cell works in accordance with government policies, UGC guidelines and constitutional provisions to promote equal opportunities, prevent discrimination and address grievances.
