Ahalia School of Management is the first B-School in the state to offer an MBA in Healthcare Management. Ours is a two-year program which is affiliated to the University of Calicut. Healthcare is one of the fastest growing sectors in the globe. According to the US Bureau of labor statistics, employment in healthcare occupations is projected to grow 15 percent from 2019 to 2029, much faster than the average for all occupations, adding about 2.4 million new jobs. Healthcare occupations are projected to add more jobs than any of the other occupational groups. Healthcare managers help health systems work more efficiently which in turn helps in patient care and make a difference in people’s lives.

Our MBA program lays the foundation in basic functional areas of management with special reference to hospital management in the first two semesters. The last two semesters focus mainly on evolving the students to be managers who can manage healthcare industry within a solid business framework. The mandatory residency program in each semester gives the students real time exposure in terms of healthcare specific economics, law, information systems, marketing, policy, supply chain and strategic management.
