The Republic Day was celebrated at Ahalia School of Management on 26 January 2026 at 8.40 a.m. with great pride and patriotic fervor. The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Prof. B. Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal and Director, followed by the National Salute. In his address, Prof. B. Vijayachandran Pillai highlighted the historical significance of 26 January, the day on which the Constitution of India came into force, marking India’s transition into a sovereign democratic republic. He emphasized that the Constitution is not merely a legal document, but a guiding framework that upholds the core values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. He stressed that unity in diversity is the greatest strength of the nation and called upon students to cultivate a strong sense of civic responsibility, ethical con-duct, and social commitment. He urged the younger generation to respect constitutional values, adhere to democratic principles, and contribute positively to nation-building through integrity, discipline, and responsible citizenship.
Principal also highlighted the crucial role of educational institutions in shaping en-lightened and socially responsible citizens. He encouraged students to uphold the ideals of the Constitution not only in their academic and professional pursuits but al-so in their personal lives. The address concluded with a meaningful reminder that true patriotism is reflected not only in ceremonial observances but in everyday actions that contribute to the progress and harmony of the nation.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem, followed by the distribution of sweets to all participants. The staff members of Ahalia School of Management attended the celebration and participated with great respect, enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.
