On 24th May 2023, ASM organized a special interactive session on the topic “Digital Transformation in Banking Industry”. Managers of the concerned Departments from SBI Palakkad Zonal Office severed as the resource persons. The session began at 4:45 PM in the Seminar Hall. The session started with a prayer by Ms. Risvana Mariyam (II Year MBA HCM) followed by the welcome cum presidential address by the Principal & Director of the Institution, Prof.(Dr.) B Vijayachandran Pillai. Mr. Arun K Unni, Deputy Manager, Digital, SBI Palakkad Zonal Office gave an insight about digitalisation in the banking industry. Mr. Jithin R, Manager Liability, SBI Palakkad Zonal Office presented the recent trends in the digital banking based on SMAC (Social, Mobile, Analytics and Cloud). Thereafter, Mr. Ajaib Muhammed, Housing Loan Manager, SBI Palakkad Zonal Office narrated the career prospects in the banking sector. All the students actively involved by clearing their queries with regard to the Digital transformation in Banking sector. Finally, the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Shahala Nasri (I Year MBA HCM). The programme came to an end at 7:15 PM.

On Fifth Day, 24/2/2023, as part of celebration of one week National Management Day (Prabhandanam), at 2 pm the inaugural function of AIMA Membership of ASM has been arranged. Prof. Dr. B.Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal and Director has presided over the function. The inauguration was performed by Dr. Anuja Pandey, Professor of AIMA, New Delhi. During her inaugural address she has narrated the different types of services of AIMA to the beneficiaries. She also explained the advantages of taking membership in AIMA to individuals and institutions. Thereafter, Dr. S.N Jagadeesh offered felicitation to the function. After the inaugural function, Dr. Anuja Pandey has taken an interactive session on the topic Emerging Trends in Digital Marketing. The participants raised their queries based on the discussion and calrified. Nearly 20 participants joined through online. Mr. Gokul and Ms. Abhirami presented the feedback of the session. Finally, Ms. Anjali A proposed vote of thanks to the resource person and all other participants. The session came to an end at 4.00 p.m.

            On Fourth Day, 23/2/2023, as part of celebration of one week National Managment Day (Prabhandanam), the ASM organized an invited talk on the topic Professional Management in Higher Educational Institutions. The session commenced with a formal introduction about the Resource Person Mr. Madhavan Unni IRSS, (Academic Advisor, IIT Palakkad) and welcomed him and other participants to the session by Prof. Dr. B.Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal and Director, ASM. Mr Unni has explained the relevance of Professional Management in Higher Education institutions and also some strategies for professional management. Ms. Sruthi and Ms. Seethalakshmi presented the feedback of the session. Finally, Ms. Risvana Mariyam proposed vote of thanks to the resource person and all other participants. The session came to an end at 4.10 p.m.

On Third Day, 22/2/2023, as part of celebration of one week National Managment Day (Prabhandanam), the ASM organized an invited talk on the topic Emerging Trends in HR. The resource person was Mr.M.Mohan Das, Assistant Personnel Manager, Malabar Cements Ltd, Walayar, Palakkad.  Prof. Dr. B.Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal and Director, ASM introduced and welcomed the resource person and all other participants to the session.The Resource Person has explained the recent trends in HR Management area. Thereafter, the participants raised their queries and clarified. Ms.Farsana and Meenu T.Shaji presented the feedback of the session. Finally, Deepthi B.proposed vote of thanks to the resource person and all other participants. The session came to an end at 4.20p.m.

On Second Day (On 21/02/2023) as part of celebration of one week National Management Day (Prabhandanam), the ASM organized a Seminar on Emerging Destination for Health Care Career in India. The session started at 2:30 pm with a brief introduction about the Resource person by Prof. Dr. B.Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal and Director ASM. He also welcomed the resource person and the participants to the session. Prof. R. Chandrasekhar Menon, renowned Professor having a core competency in Business Analytics, healthcare Management and Management Education has been served as Resource person. He has narrated the various employment opportunities in India and abroad in the field of Health Care Management for MBA Students. The session was conducted in an interactive way. The session came to an end with a vote of thanks by Ms.Anusree, MBA student at 4.15 pm.

On 20/02/2023, as part of one week celebration of National Management Day (Prabhandanam), the ASM organized an invited talk on “How to become a good entrepreneur” at 2:30 pm in ASM Seminar Hall.  Prof. Dr. B.Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal  & Director has introduced and welcomed the resource person, Mr. Sunil Joseph, MD Sark Cables Ltd. Kanjikode and other participants to the session. All the facilities and students of both ASM and ASCM attended the session. It was an interactive session and the students and faculties clarified their queries. Ms Priyanka (First year MBA) proposed the vote of thanks to all and the session came to an end at 4:15 pm.
