Ahalia School of Management celebrated World Students ‘Day on 19th October 2023 at ASM Seminar Hall from 4.15 p.m to 5.45 p.m. The event started with the Welcome Speech by Lincy Reji (I Sem MBA 2023-25). Thereafter Prof. (Dr.) B Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal & Director, ASM delivered his Presidential Address. In his speech, he explained about the importance of celebrating World Students ‘Day and honoring the contribution of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in the field of education. He stressed the need for innovation among student community. Ms. Neetu P M, Assistant Professor, ASM, the Resource Person of the session has narrated the Role of Students in Entrepreneurship & Innovation. In her speech, she mentioned the important activity the students can engage for the introduction of innovation and some strategies for entrepreneurship among students. An activity based competition has also been arranged by dividing the students into 4 groups. Based on their performance, certificates were given to the team members who secured First Prize in the competition. Mr. Akhil and Ms. Hisana Nazrin has delivered feedback about the session. Finally Ms. Saniya James proposed the Vote of Thanks. The session came to an end at 5.45 pm.
