Teachers Day Celebrations – 2026

Ahalia School of Management celebrated Teachers’ Day on 03 September 2026 at 2.00 p.m. at the ASM Seminar Hall. The programme was organised by the MBA students to express their gratitude and appreciation to the faculty members for their valuable guidance and contribution to the ac-ademic, professional and personal development of students. The programme commenced with a welcome address by a student representative, followed by an address by the Principal & Director, Prof. Dr. B. Vijayachandran Pillai.

In his address, the Principal & Director highlighted the significance of celebrating Teachers’ Day in a B-School and emphasised the important role of teachers in developing competent professionals, responsible citizens and human resources that contribute to the growth of the economy. He also spoke about the life and contributions of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose dedication to education and philosophy continues to inspire genera-tions. Following the address, students expressed their gratitude by presenting greeting cards with personalised messages to the faculty members and shared brief reflections on how their teachers had influenced their academic and personal growth. The programme also included an interactive session in which faculty members shared their experiences in the field of academics and spoke about their professional journeys and the reasons that motivated them to choose teaching as a career. The session provided students with valuable insights into the teaching profession and strengthened the bond between students and faculty members. The celebration created a warm atmosphere of appreciation, respect and gratitude towards teachers and concluded at 4.00p.m.
