An internship programme was conducted at Ahalia Hospital AHCL, Palakkad, on 24 May 2025, with 8 students participating. The programme aimed to provide students with practical exposure to hospital administration and healthcare service delivery.

Students were familiarized with patient registration and admission, OPD and IPD operations, patient flow management, billing and insurance, medical records, pharmacy, diagnostic services and hospital support functions. They also gained an understanding of the coordination among various departments and the importance of efficient hospital processes.

The internship provided valuable practical insights into hospital management, patient care, service quality and operational efficiency, helping students strengthen their professional knowledge and apply academic learning in a real healthcare setting.
