An internship programme was conducted at Ahalia Hospital AHCL, Palakkad, on 13 February 2025, with the participation of 21 students. The programme focused on providing students with practical knowledge of hospital operations and healthcare administration.

Students gained exposure to patient registration and admission procedures, OPD and IPD operations, appointment and patient flow management, billing and insurance, medical records, pharmacy, diagnostics and support services. They also observed the interaction and coordination between different hospital departments.

The programme helped students develop a practical understanding of hospital management, healthcare service delivery, patient satisfaction, quality practices and operational coordination. The experience enhanced their ability to relate academic concepts to real-world healthcare settings.
