Academic Exposure and Career Orientation Visit

Ahalia School of Management (ASM) hosted a campus visit for 100 B.Com students accompanied by 4 faculty members from Amal College of Advanced Studies (Autonomous), Nilambur, Malappuram District, on 30 September 2026. The student group reached the Ahalia Campus at around 10:00 a.m. and, after a short tea break, participated in an interactive academic session organised by Ahalia School of Management.

The session, titled “MBA at Ahalia – Excellence and Opportunities,” was conducted by Ms. Jyothis Rachel Mathews, Assistant Professor, ASM, and lasted for approximately 30 minutes. The session provided the students with an overview of the relevance and scope of management education in the contemporary business environment. The resource person explained the MBA admission procedure, career opportunities after MBA, and the importance of developing managerial and professional skills for career advancement.

She also highlighted the distinctive features of Ahalia School of Management, including its academic environment, modern infrastructure, 100% placement facility, Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme, internship opportunities, and the various academic and professional development opportunities available to students within the Ahalia Campus. The interactive session enabled the students to gain a better understanding of MBA education and the diverse career pathways available after completing their undergraduate studies.

Following the academic interaction, the students and faculty members undertook a guided tour of the Ahalia Campus. During the visit, they explored several important facilities and attractions, including Ahalia Heritage, windmills, solar panel installations, Sculpture Park, hospitals, and other institutions within the campus. The campus tour provided the participants with first-hand exposure to the diverse academic, healthcare, environmental, technological, and cultural initiatives of Ahalia.

The visit also offered practical exposure to the unique facilities and initiatives of the Ahalia Campus and encouraged the students to consider opportunities for higher education, management studies, internships, and professional development. The programme served as an effective platform for academic interaction, knowledge sharing, and institutional engagement between Amal College of Advanced Studies and Ahalia School of Management.

The student group departed from the Ahalia Campus at around 2:00 p.m., marking the successful completion of the campus visit.
