The Graduation Ceremony 2025 for the University of Calicut – Palakkad District was conducted with grandeur and solemnity at the Ahalia Women and Children’s Hospital (AWACH) Auditorium on 7th August 2025. The programme was jointly organized by the Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics and the Ahalia School of Management. Registration began at 8:00 AM, with graduates, faculty members, and dignitaries arriving in high spirits to celebrate this significant academic milestone. The programme began at 10:00 AM with a graceful welcome dance, which set the tone for the day’s celebrations. Following the cultural opening, the welcome address was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Sunoj Kumar P., Controller of Examinations, who greeted the audience and expressed his delight in being part of this special occasion. The Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. Vasumathi T., Convener, Standing Committee of the Syndicate on Examinations, who highlighted the value of higher education and the important role students will play in shaping the future. The ceremony was formally inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) P. Raveendran, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, whose inspiring words motivated the graduates to pursue their goals with integrity and determination. A powerful Keynote Address was delivered by Dr. Richard Scaria, Member, Syndicate and Palakkad Graduation Ceremony Co-ordinator, who shared insights into the evolving academic landscape and the graduates’ potential to make a positive impact in society.

The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr. S.N. Jagadeesh, Principal, Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, staff members, coordinators, and students for their support and participation. At 10:45 AM, the Honoring of Graduates began, with each graduate receiving their Degree certificates from the Honorable Vice Chancellor. The formal programme concluded with the National Anthem. Following the ceremony, a Photo Session was held to capture the proud moments of the day. The programme concluded by 1:00 PM afterwards, lunch was provided to all the graduates. Post lunch, the students were guided to specially arranged selfie points, where they celebrated and clicked pictures with their friends and families in a festive atmosphere, marking the end of a memorable and joyous celebration of academic success.
