Ahalia School of Management organized the inauguration of the Audit Course on “AI for Customer Service” for the Second Semester MBA students on 19 May 2026 at the ASM Seminar Hall at 3.00 p.m. The programme was arranged as part of the Skill Enhancement initiative prescribed under the university curriculum. The course is scheduled for a duration of one week beginning from 19 May 2026.
The inaugural session commenced with a formal welcome to the gathering comprising faculty members and MBA students. Prof. (Dr.) B. Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal and Director, delivered the Presidential and Inaugural Address. In his address, he highlighted the unique features and growing importance of Audit Courses and Skill Enhancement Programmes in management education. He emphasized the need for MBA students to acquire practical and technology-oriented skills to meet the changing demands of the business world. He also spoke about the increasing relevance of Artificial Intelligence in customer service management and its applications across industries.
During the session, the Principal formally welcomed and introduced the Resource Person, Gurudeth Sadanandan. The resource person addressed the participants and briefly explained the objectives of the programme, the structure of the sessions and various AI tools that would be covered during the course. He also shared insights into the practical applications of Artificial Intelligence in enhancing customer interaction, service quality, automation and business communication. The inaugural function concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Christeen Mathew, MBA student, who expressed gratitude to the Principal, the Resource Person and faculty members and all participants for making the programme meaningful and successful. The technical sessions of the Audit Course formally commenced at 4.00 p.m. with active participation from the MBA students.








Ahalia School of Management conducted a 6-day Audit Course on “AI in Customer Service” for the MBA (General) and MBA (Health Care Management) Batch 2025–2027 from 19th May 2026 to 26th May 2026, covering a total of 30 hours with the participation of 27 students. The sessions were handled by Mr. Gurudath Sadanandan, who provided valuable insights into the role of Artificial Intelligence in transforming customer service across industries. The course introduced students to key concepts such as chatbots, virtual assistants, Natural Language Processing (NLP), machine learning and predictive analytics, with a special focus on applications in healthcare services.
The programme adopted an interactive approach through lectures, case studies, discussions and practical demonstrations, enabling students to connect theory with real-world applications. Students actively engaged in the sessions and gained a deeper understanding of AI-driven customer experience, personalization strategies and service efficiency. The course successfully enhanced students’ knowledge of emerging technologies and strengthened their industry readiness, reflecting the institution’s commitment to providing value-added learning experiences aligned with current industry trends.
