The Ahalia School of Management Studies has conducted the Inauguration Function of the First Year MBA (2025-27 Batch) on 16.07.2025 at 10.30 am @ ASM Seminar Hall. The event marked the formal induction of the new cohort of students into the esteemed MBA program and aimed to inspire them to embark on their professional journey with zeal and commitment. The program commenced with a lamp lighting and solemn invocation song, followed by the welcome address delivered by Dr.Padmaavathy.PA. Associate Professor, who warmly greeted the newly admitted students, their parents, faculty members and the distinguished guest of honour and other dignitaries off the dice. The event began with Presidential address by the Principal & Director, Prof. (Dr). B Vijayachandran Pillai. He spoke about the evolution of MBA course and its importance in current scenario. And also emphasised outlining the academic structure, specialization options, co-curricular engagements, industry interfaces and placement activities.
The inaugural address was delivered by CA Vimal Venu, a renowned Chartered Accountant, Sr.Partner, Vimal Venu & Co, Certified Fraud Examiner, Financial consultant from Palakkad and President, Palakkad Management Association. In his inaugural address, Mr. Venu shared valuable insights on the role of professional education in shaping ethical, visionary and dynamic leaders for the future. Drawing from his experience in finance and corporate consultancy, he emphasized the importance of continuous learning, integrity and adaptability in today’s competitive business environment. He encouraged students to view challenges as opportunities and highlighted how management education could be a transformational experience. This is followed by felicitations by our Executive Director Dr. Krishna Kumar Kishor, Dr. P R. Suresh, (Principal, Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology) and Dr. S.N. Jagadeesh, (Principal, Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics). Also, Ms. Almas Fathima, student representative shared her academic journey in Ahalia School of Management also offered felicitations. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. P.Arun Kumar, Assistant Professor by expressing gratitude to the chief guest, faculty members, non-teaching staff, parents and students for their presence and participation. After a short break, the parents’ meeting was convened in which the Principal introduced the faculty members and office staff. He urged the need for co-operation and support of the parents for the smooth functioning of the MBA program
