ASM has organised an industrial visit to Ahalia Medicine Manufacturing Unit (AMMU) on 22/7/2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. The visit began with a warm welcome by the Ahalia team, followed by a brief introduction. The students and faculty members were given a guided tour of the manufacturing unit by Mr. Renjith Administrative Officer. The Key areas visited are Preprocessing Unit, Drug washing section, powdering section, Furnace room, Grinding room and Production Area. A Detailed explanation of the production process, from raw material preparation to the final product has been explained. Also visited Quality Control Lab & Specimen lab, Packaging, Tableting and labeling section. The industrial visit to Ahalia Medicine Manufacturing Unit was a valuable educational experience for the MBA students, providing them with a practical understanding of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. It offered a unique opportunity to observe the application of management principles in a real-world context and gain insights into the operational challenges and strategies .The faculty members and students express their gratitude to the Ahalia team for their hospitality and the enriching experience.
