ASM organised Industrial visit on 15th July 2024, a group of 24 students from the MBA General and Healthcare Management programs, along with 4 faculty members, visited Sark Cables in Kanjikode. The visit, organized to provide practical industry insights, began at 10 AM and concluded at 12:30 PM. The MBA General students were tasked with examining the operational and administrative aspects of the company, delving into the intricacies of its production processes and management practices. Meanwhile, the Healthcare Management students focused on occupational safety, hazards, and employee well-being, highlighting the importance of health and safety protocols in an industrial setting.
Ms. Athira from the Quality Department led the guided tour, offering detailed explanations of the company’s quality control measures and production standards. The visit provided valuable hands-on experience, allowing students to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications. This immersive experience not only broadened their understanding of their respective fields but also underscored the importance of industry standards and safety practices in maintaining a productive and safe workplace environment.
