On 20.05.2025, ASM celebrated International HR day. The program started  at 11.00 a.m. with an introductory talk by Principal & Director, Prof. Dr. B. Vijayachandran Pillai, highlighting the strategic and supportive role of HR as well as  the need to acknowledge the vital contributions of Human Resources professionals who work behind the scenes to recruit talent, build culture, manage employee well-being and support organizational growth.   ASM as a part of International HR Day celebrations, organised HR game consisting of HR Crossword Puzzle, Team building game and Role Play. Students were divided into five teams and events were conducted. The celebration began with a brain-teasing HR Crossword Puzzle designed to test participants’ knowledge of HR concepts, labor laws, employee engagement strategies and organizational behavior. Teams competed enthusiastically with teamwork and quick thinking. This is followed by Team Building Game emphasizing the importance of collaboration, communication and problem-solving within a team setting. Activities like “Tower Building” and tested how well team members could strategize and support one another. The most engaging segment of the celebration was the Role Play activity, where team members played roles of HR professionals  and employees. The certificates were distributed to winners. All activities were eye-opening and enjoyable, leading to a better understanding of work place dynamics and challenges. The program ended at 1pm.
