The International HR Day Celebration was organized by Ahalia School of Management on 21 May 2026 at ASM Seminar Hall from 11.30 a.m. onwards. The event aimed to highlight the importance of HR Management and to create awareness among students regarding the role of HR professionals in organizational success.

The programme commenced with the Presidential and Inaugural Address delivered by Prof. (Dr.) B. Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal and Director, Ahalia School of Management. In his address, he explained the relevance and significance of International HR Day and emphasized the growing importance of Human Resource Management in the corporate world. He also motivated MBA students to develop leadership qualities, teamwork, communication skills and professional ethics required for successful HR careers. As part of the celebration, an HR Game competition was organized to encourage teamwork, coordination and strategic thinking among students. Dr. Manju M, Assistant Professor, coordinated the games effectively and ensured smooth conduct of the programme. The students were divided into four teams and all the teams participated actively with great spirit and enthusiasm. At the conclusion of the competition, the First Team emerged as the winner and bagged the first prize. Certificates were distributed to all the members of the winning team by the Principal and Director in appreciation of their excellent performance. The programme successfully promoted team spirit, interaction and learning among students. The HR Day Celebration concluded at 1.00 p.m.
