ASM celebrated Kerala Piravi day @ ASM Seminar hall on 1st November 2024.The programme started at 10.30 am with a prayer followed by welcome address by Ms. Pooja . Prof Dr B Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal and Director, delivered the presi-dential cum- inaugural address. In his speech, he has mentioned about the historical and geographical background of the State of Kerala and the reasons why we celebrate the Kerala Piravi Day. He also narrated role of arts, literature, Cinema in promoting the culture of the State of Kerala. Thereafter, the Key note address was delivered by Mr.E.P. B Rajithan, Vice President, Ahalia Academics. In his speech, he stressed on the unique attractions of Kerala such as Our Culture, Literacy, and Educational Standard etc. He also mentioned why Kerala is known as God’s own Country. Dr. Jagadeesh S.N (Principal, ASCM) in his felicitation, he mentioned about the distinguishing features of Kerala State. Following the formal inauguration competition was organized to select Malayalimanka and KeralaSreeman.The event featured four rounds. 5 teams participated in the event and Team No:2 won the first prize. Mr. Xavier Akshay and Ms.Vinisha were selected as the title winners. The Celebration concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Ms. Lohitha (Sem 1).The programme came to an end by 1.15 pm, leaving everyone with a renewed appreciation for Kerala’s unique heritage.
