Ahalia School of Management organised a session on Leadership and Innovation Management lessons from Space Science on 13.09.2025 at 9.30am. The session is handled by Padma Shri M. Chandra Dathan, Scientific Advisor to Chief Minister of Kerala and Former Director VSSC, Trivandrum. The session started with a formal introduction about the resource person by Prof. Dr. B.Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal and Director and he welcomed all the participants for this session. He has narrated ten tips to manage the business strategically such as Innovation, Happiness, Team work, Ethics, Communication Skills, Environment, Work life Balance, AI etc. The focus of the talk was based on how ISRO manages innovation, solves complex technical problems and executes large-scale missions and how those lessons are applicable to organizational leadership, management and innovation in other sectors. The resource person provided valuable insights into how innovation can be managed effectively even under constraints with high reliability and with strong leader-ship. The ISRO model offers many lessons relevant for organizations of any kind: from being mission-driven, to embracing failures, to fostering collaboration and learning. It was an interactive session and he clarified all the queries of faculties and students. The session came to an end at 11.15 am.
