On 4 September 2023, one seperate session was arranged for the formal in-auguration of the 11th Batch of MBA (2023-25 Batch) Programme of the ASM. In the programme, Ms.Manju M (Faculty, ASM) welcomed the Chief Guest and all the participants including parents of the newly admitted stu-dents. Prof. (Dr.) B.Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal and Director, ASM presided over the function. In his presidential address, he has narrated the uniqune-ness of the MBA Programme and the need for enhancing the soft skills of the students. He also stressed the need for following certain tips for their success. Mr. P .Venugopal, former Director LIC Management Development Centre, Mumbai and Secretary General of the Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai was the Chief Guest who inaugurated the programme. He has given certain tips to students for enhancing their excellence. Dr. Krishnakumar Kishore, Executive Director, Ahalia Group in his felicitation speech, explained the facil-ities available in the campus and requested the students to utilise the facilities properly. Ms.Jisha O (Faculty, ASM) offered felicitations. Thereafter, in a separate session, the Chief Guest has mentioned about the need for in-surance in the modern competitive environment, career opportunities and pension schemes offered by LIC and shared his practical experience in differ-ent capacities in an interactive style. The students asked their queries and clarified. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Aashna Siddhic and the compairing work of the session was performed by Ms. Neetu P.M. The session came to an end at 1.30 pm.
