The Additional Skill Acquisition Program (ASAP), Govt. of Kerala has conducted a Placement Readiness Program at Ahalia School of Management on 21st and 22nd November 2024 for both first year and second year MBA students. Prof (Dr) B. Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal and Director, ASM has formally inaugurated the two-day program at 9.30a.m. In his inaugural speech, he stressed the need for attending the skill acquisition programs by MBA students and the relevance of the program.
Mr.Akhilesh, Skill Development Executive, ASAP Kerala has served as the resource person for the session. In the forenoon session on 21.11.2024, he covered the areas such as confidence building and communication skill development. The afternoon session was an interactive one, in which students were asked to do individual and group presentations to enhance their presentation skills.
On 22nd Nov 2024, Mr. Akhilesh focussed (in the forenoon session) on resume–writing followed by group discussion. In the afternoon, Mr. Akhilesh and Ms.Akshaya, Programme Manager, ASAP Kerala conducted mock interview session for students. Thereafter, feedback was also collected from the students. The program came to an end by 4.30p.m. This programme was an eye-opener for the students for enhancing their employability skills.
