On 12.09.2025, at 2.00 pm on the consecutive day of the Swachhata Pakhwada celebrations was marked by a vibrant and thought-provoking exhibition organized by the first-year MBA students on the theme “Wealth Out of Waste.”  Prof. Dr.B.Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal and Director, ASM emphasised the importance of sustainable waste management practices and innovative ways of converting discarded materials into useful and value-added products. The students showcased a variety of creative models, utility items and decorative pieces made entirely from recyclable and waste materials such as plastic bottles, newspapers, cardboard, glass jars, and tin cans. Items on display included eco-friendly home décor, stationery holders, wall hangings, planters etc. The exhibition reflected not only the creativity and innovation of the MBA students but also their entrepreneurial mindset in linking waste management with potential business opportunities. Faculty members and staff witnessed the exhibition and appreciated the efforts of the participants.  Based on evaluation criteria, four students were selected as prize winners.  The first prize was won by Ms.Anugraha, second prize was bagged by Ms.Christeena and Ms.Mubeena and the third prize was won by Mr.Arjun. In conclusion, Swachhata Pakhwada was both educational and inspiring, promoting the spirit of cleanliness, sustainability and innovation among the students. The program ended at 4.00 pm.
