Ahalia School of Management celebrated the Teachers’ Day on 5th of September 2024 at ASM Seminar Hall. The whole program was organised by the students of I Sem MBA. A warm welcome was done by our students to Principal and Director and all the teachers. The program started at 2.00 p.m. with a welcome address by I MBA student Ms. Manasa. Principal and Director, Prof. .Dr.B.Vijayachandran Pillai presided over the function. The Principal expressed his teachers’ day wishes to all the faculties of the institution. He has mentioned two reasons why we celebrate teachers’ day. (1) To commemorate the birth anniversary of Sarvepalli Dr. Radhakrishnan. (2) To Honour, respect and remember teachers for their dedication, commitment and contribution in shaping the whole society. Also, mentioned the qualities of a good professional teacher. Above all he has mentioned the reasons for choosing teaching as a noble profession. He explained about the role of a professional teacher in the society. Faculties also shared their experiences and 2021-23 batch students expressed their gratitude towards the teachers by giving short speeches. The students as a token of love and respect honoured the teachers with greeting card and sweets. Ms. Malavika proposed the vote of thanks. Finally a group photo session was also arranged and program ended at 4.00 p.m.
