A tree plantation programme titled “Planting 100+ Saplings” was organized on 5 June 2026 (Friday) at 10:00 AM at Gandhi Ashram, Ramassery. The programme was jointly organized by Ahalia Group of Institutions and Gandhi Ashram Ramassery under the initiatives of National Service Scheme (NSS), Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) and NRPF.   The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Biju P.C., President, Elapully Grama Panchayat, who emphasized the importance of environmental conservation, sustainable development and community participation in protecting nature. Dr. P R Suresh, Principal, ASET offered presidential address. MBA students from Ahalia School of Management actively participated in the event along with faculty members, NSS volunteers and representatives of the organizing institutions. The students took part in planting saplings, supporting the objective of increasing green cover and promoting environmental awareness among the community. The programme provided students with an opportunity to engage in social and environmental responsibility activities while fostering teamwork and community involvement. The successful planting of more than 100 saplings marked a significant step towards creating a greener and healthier environment. The event concluded with a vote of thanks at 1.00 pm.
