
Day 1 – 30.07.2026 – MBA IGNITION

The Student Induction Programme and Universal Human Values (UHV) Orientation – ASPIRE 2026 for the newly admitted MBA 2026–2028 batch commenced on 30 July 2026 at ASM Seminar Hall. The programme was formally inaugurated by Prof. Dr. B. Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal & Director, who welcomed the students and emphasized the importance of value-based management education, ethical leadership, professionalism and holistic personality development. He encouraged the students to make the best use of the induction programme as the foundation for their MBA journey. Following the inaugural session, Day 1 of “MBA IGNITE”, a three-day foundation and transformation programme was conducted by Mr. Anoop John, Corporate Trainer, CEO & Founder of Meta Minds. The programme is designed to equip students with essential personal and professional competencies through interactive and experiential learning methodologies.
The forenoon session focused on Self-Discovery and Self-Awareness. Through reflective exercises, group discussions and engaging activities, students explored their strengths, values, beliefs and personal aspirations. The session helped participants understand the significance of self-awareness as the first step towards becoming effective managers and responsible leaders.
The afternoon session was devoted to Negotiation and Leadership. Students participated in experiential activities, simulations and team exercises that enhanced their communication, negotiation, decision-making, collaboration and leadership skills. The practical learning environment encouraged students to apply management concepts in real-life situations while developing confidence and teamwork.
The entire programme was highly interactive, with emphasis on experiential learning, active participation, and reflection. Rather than relying on traditional lectures, the resource person employed practical exercises and engaging activities that enabled students to learn through experience. The sessions generated enthusiastic participation and created an energetic and motivating learning environment.









Day 2 – 31.07.2026 – MBA IGNITION

The second day of MBA IGNITE, conducted as part of the Student Induction Programme and Universal Human Values (UHV) Orientation – ASPIRE 2026 for the MBA 2026–2028 batch, continued with a highly interactive and experiential learning approach facilitated by Mr. Anoop John.
The forenoon session focused on the Strength of the Subconscious Mind, Energy Transfer, Body Postures, Empathetic Listening and Building Trust. Through practical demonstrations, discussions and indoor activities, students explored the influence of mind-set, non-verbal communication, active and empathetic listening and trust in developing effective interpersonal relationships.
The afternoon session focused on Time Management, helping students understand the importance of prioritizing tasks, managing time effectively and developing productive habits essential for academic and professional success.
The day’s programme was designed as a blend of classroom learning and indoor activity-based sessions, providing students with opportunities to learn concepts, experience them through activities, reflect on their learning and apply them in practical situations. The active participation of students made the sessions engaging and meaningful. Overall, Day 2 of MBA IGNITE contributed significantly to the personal and professional development of the students by strengthening their self-management, interpersonal, communication, trust-building and time-management skills.
Day 2 – 31.07.2026 –MBA IGNITION

The third and final day of MBA IGNITE, a three-day foundation and transformation programme conducted as part of the Student Induction Programme and Universal Human Values (UHV) Orientation – ASPIRE 2026 for the MBA 2026–2028 batch were designed to enhance students’ creative thinking, communication abilities, leadership potential and entrepreneurial mindset through an engaging blend of experiential learning and activity based training.
The forenoon session focused on Creativity, Presentation Skills and Confidence Building. Through a series of individual and group activities, students were encouraged to think creatively, organize their ideas effectively and present them with clarity and confidence. Interactive presentations, practical exercises and constructive feedback enabled participants to improve their public speaking, stage presence and communication skills while overcoming hesitation and building self-confidence.
The afternoon session emphasized Energy Management, Teamwork, Problem Solving and Entrepreneurship. Students participated in a variety of indoor and outdoor experiential activities that highlighted the importance of managing personal energy, collaborating effectively in teams and approaching challenges with innovative problem solving techniques. The entrepreneurship session inspired students to develop an entrepreneurial outlook by encouraging initiative, creativity, leadership and value creation in dynamic business environments.
The sessions incorporated a balanced combination of internal and external activities, team presentations and reflective discussions, ensuring that students experienced the concepts in a practical and engaging manner. The enthusiastic participation of all students contributed to a vibrant learning environment and strengthened their interpersonal, leadership and collaborative skills. The three-day MBA IGNITE programme concluded with a valedictory session. Ms. Abinaya, a first-year MBA student, delivered the Vote of Thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to the management, Principal & Director, faculty members, organizing team, and the resource person for conducting an enriching and transformative programme. As a token of appreciation, Ms. Abhisha, Coordinator of the Outreach Cell, presented a memento to Mr. Anoop John in recognition of his valuable contribution and inspiring sessions. The programme concluded on a positive note, leaving the students motivated, confident, and well prepared to embark on their MBA journey with renewed enthusiasm and a strong value based perspective.
Day 4 – 03.08.2026, Session I–Leading with Purpose: Building Sustainable Businesses through People, Planet & Profit

As part of ASPIRE 2K26 (Ahalia Student Programme for Induction, Professionalism, Innovation, Responsibility & Excellence), Ahalia School of Management (ASM) organized a session on 03 August 2026 at 9:30 a.m. in the ASM Seminar Hall for the newly admitted MBA 2026–2028 Batch. The session formed an integral component of the Student Induction Programme and Universal Human Values (UHV) initiative, aimed at nurturing responsible, socially conscious and future-ready management professionals.
The session was delivered by Mr. Reynold Scaria, Founder & Managing Director, Thanima Farm Life, Palakkad, on the thought-provoking theme “Leading with Pur-pose: Building Sustainable Businesses through People, Planet & Profit.” The programme commenced with a warm welcome by the Principal and Director, Prof. Dr. B.Vijayachandran Pillai, followed by an introduction to the resource person and his entrepreneurial journey by I MBA student, Ms. Aiswarya. Students were encouraged to view leadership not merely as a position of authority but as a commitment to creating meaningful and sustainable value for society. The session aligned with the institution’s vision of developing ethical leaders who are capable of balancing economic success with environmental stewardship and social responsibility.
During his interaction with the students, Mr. Reynold Scaria highlighted the importance of the Triple Bottom Line approach- People, Planet, and Profit – as the foundation of sustainable business practices. He explained that modern organizations must move beyond the conventional focus on financial gains and embrace business models that generate positive social and environmental impact while remaining economically viable. Drawing from his entrepreneurial experiences with Thanima Farm Life, he shared practical examples of sustainable farming, responsible resource utilization and environmentally conscious business practices. He emphasized that entrepreneurship should be driven by purpose, innovation and long-term value creation rather than short-term profits. His real-life experiences inspired stu-dents to appreciate the role of businesses in addressing societal challenges while contributing to economic development. The speaker further discussed the evolving expectations of consumers, investors and governments regarding sustainable and ethical business practices. He encouraged students to develop a mind-set of innovation, adaptability and responsible decision-making. He stressed that future managers must possess not only technical competence but also empathy, integrity and environmental consciousness to lead organizations successfully in a rapidly changing world.
An engaging interaction session followed, during which students actively participated by asking questions related to sustainable entrepreneurship, green business models, career opportunities in social enterprises and the practical challenges faced by entrepreneurs. A case study on waste management has also been given to the students and based on their performance the winners were given an opportunity to visit the Tanima farm. The session also motivated the participants to integrate sustainability into their future managerial decisions and entrepreneurial aspirations. The event concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks, by Ms Akshaya expressing sincere appreciation to Mr. Reynold Scaria for sharing his valuable experiences, practical insights and inspiring thoughts. The faculty members and students acknowledged his significant contribution to the success of the induction programme.
Day 4 – 03. 08. 2026 ,Session II -Industrial Visit to AMMU (Ahalia Medicine Manufacturing Unit )
The second session, held at 11:30 a.m., comprised an industrial visit to AMMU – Ahalia Medicine Manufacturing Unit, located within the Ahalia Campus. The visit was organized as an integral part of the Student Induction and Universal Human Values (UHV) Programme for the MBA 2026–2028 batch, with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing pro-cesses and the operational practices of a modern medicine production facility. During the visit, students were introduced to various stages of pharmaceutical manu-facturing, including raw material handling, production processes, quality assurance, packaging, storage and distribution. The officials at AMMU provided detailed explanations of the stringent quality control measures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards that govern pharmaceutical production.
Day 4 – 03. 08. 2026, Session III- Anti-Ragging & Student Responsibility

As part of the ASPIRE 2K26 – Student Induction and Universal Human Values (UHV) Programme, Ahalia School of Management (ASM) organized an awareness session on “Anti-Ragging & Student Responsibility” on 03 August 2026 at 2.00 p.m . The session was conducted by Adv. Reena Jaijith, a practicing advocate at the District Court, Palakkad, with the objective of creating awareness among the newly ad-mitted MBA students about their rights, responsibilities and the legal framework that ensures a safe, respectful and inclusive campus environment.
The resource person commenced the session by explaining the concept of ragging and it’s various forms, including physical, verbal, psychological, emotional and online harassment. She clarified that ragging is not merely a harmless tradition or an act of fun but a serious violation of human dignity and a punishable offence under Indian law. Through practical examples drawn from academic settings, she helped students understand how certain behaviors, often perceived as casual interactions, may amount to ragging or harassment and can have lasting psychological and emotional consequences on victims.
Adv. Reena elaborated on the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions and explained the legal provisions applicable to acts of ragging under the Indian Penal Code (IPC). She discussed the disciplinary and legal consequences that may arise from involvement in ragging, including suspension, expulsion, cancellation of admission, filing of criminal cases and other institutional and legal actions. She emphasized that every student has the right to pursue education in an environment that is free from fear, intimidation, discrimination and harassment.
The session also focused on student responsibility in fostering a positive campus culture. Students were encouraged to uphold values such as mutual respect, empathy, discipline, inclusiveness and responsible conduct in all their interactions. The resource person highlighted the importance of respecting diversity and maintaining healthy interpersonal relationships, irrespective of differences in background, gen-der, language, culture or region. She urged senior and junior students alike to con-tribute towards building a welcoming and supportive academic community.
A significant portion of the session was devoted to creating awareness about sexual harassment prevention and the institutional mechanisms available to address com-plaints. Adv. Reena explained what constitutes sexual harassment, discussed ac-acceptable standards of behavior within educational institutions, and emphasized the importance of maintaining professional and respectful interactions. She also briefed the students on the role of the Internal Committee (IC) established under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and encouraged students to report any incidents without fear or hesitation. The session concluded with an interactive discussion, during which students actively participated by raising questions regarding legal rights, complaint procedures, confidentiality and the responsibilities of students in preventing ragging and harassment. The resource person addressed the queries with clarity, encouraging students to be-come responsible members of the academic community and active contributors to a safe campus environment.
Day 5 – 04. 08. 2026, Session I- Sustainable Habits for Holistic Living

As part of ASPIRE 2K26 (Ahalia Student Programme for Induction, Professional-ism, Innovation, Responsibility & Excellence), Ahalia School of Management organized a session on “Sustainable Habits for Holistic Living” for the newly admitted MBA 2026 – 28 Batch on 04 August 2026 at 9:30 a.m. in the ASM Seminar Hall. The resource person for the session was Dr. Prem Narayanan, Endocrinologist, Ahalia Diabetes Hospital, who delivered an insightful and engaging talk highlighting the significance of adopting healthy and sustainable lifestyle practices in today’s fast-paced world. The session began with an introduction to the concept of holistic living, where Dr. Prem explained that health encompasses physical, mental, emotional and social dimensions. He encouraged students to cultivate healthy routines from the very beginning of their MBA journey, as the habits developed during student life significantly influence future professional performance and overall quality of life.
One of the major themes of the session was the importance of balanced nutrition. Dr. Prem explained the role of a nutritious diet in maintaining energy levels, improving concentration and preventing lifestyle diseases such as obesity and diabetes. He encouraged students to reduce the consumption of processed foods, sugary beverages and unhealthy snacks while incorporating fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains and adequate hydration into their daily routine. The speaker also stressed the importance of regular physical activity and its role in maintaining overall fitness and preventing chronic diseases. He recommended simple yet effective lifestyle practices such as walking, stretching, yoga and regular exercise, emphasizing that consistency is more important than intensity. Addressing the growing concerns of stress among management students, Dr. Prem discussed the significance of mental health and stress management. He highlighted how academic pressure, career aspirations, and excessive screen time can affect emotional well-being if not managed effectively.
Another important aspect of the session focused on healthy sleep patterns. Dr. Prem explained how adequate sleep contributes to memory, concentration, productivity and emotional stability. The session also addressed the impact of technology and digital lifestyles on health. While acknowledging the importance of technology in education and management, Dr. Prem advised students to use digital devices responsibly, reduce unnecessary screen time and maintain a healthy balance between online engagement and real-world interactions. Throughout the session, Dr. Prem interacted actively with the students, answering questions related to nutrition, diabetes prevention, work-life balance, stress and healthy lifestyle choices. The session concluded with an interactive question and answer segment, followed by a formal vote of thanks. The students expressed their appreciation for the valuable insights shared by Dr. Prem Narayanan and the programme served as an inspiring beginning to their MBA journey by motivating them to embrace sustainable habits that contribute to personal well-being, professional success, and responsible citizenship.
Day 5 – 04. 08. 2026, Session II- Corporate Ethics.

As part of ASPIRE 2K26 (Ahalia Student Programme for Induction, Professionalism, Innovation, Responsibility & Excellence), Ahalia School of Management organized a session on “Corporate Ethics” for the newly admitted MBA 2026–2028 Batch on 04 August 2026 at 2.00 p.m. in the ASM Seminar Hall. The session was delivered by Adv. Suvarna Gopal ACS, Manali, Palakkad, an accomplished legal professional and Associate Company Secretary with extensive knowledge of corporate governance, company law, and ethical compliance. She was warmly welcomed by the faculty members and students and the session commenced with an introduction highlighting the growing significance of ethics in today’s dynamic business environment.
Adv. Suvarna Gopal began her presentation by explaining the concept of ethics and distinguishing it from legal compliance. She emphasized that while laws prescribe the minimum standards of acceptable behavior, ethics guide individuals and organizations to make decisions that are fair, transparent, responsible and socially acceptable. She explained that ethical values form the foundation of trust and credibility, which are essential for sustainable organizational growth. The resource person discussed the importance of corporate ethics in modern business organizations, explaining how ethical business practices contribute to improved corporate reputation, employee satisfaction, customer confidence and long-term profitability. She highlighted that ethical organizations create a positive work culture where integrity, accountability and professionalism are valued above short-term gains. A significant portion of the session focused on the core principles of corporate ethics, including integrity, honesty, transparency, accountability, confidentiality, fairness, respect for stakeholders and compliance with organizational policies and statutory regulations. She encouraged students to cultivate these values during their academic journey so that they become responsible professionals in the future.
Adv. Suvarna Gopal further explained various forms of unethical corporate practices, such as fraud, corruption, insider trading, conflict of interest, bribery, financial manipulation, data privacy violations, discrimination and workplace harassment. Through practical examples and case-based discussions, she demonstrated how unethical decisions can damage an organization’s reputation, invite legal consequences, and negatively impact stakeholders. The session also emphasized the importance of ethical leadership. An engaging discussion was held on ethical dilemmas encountered in the corporate world. Students were encouraged to analyze different business situations involving conflicting interests and to identify solutions based on ethical reasoning rather than personal or financial benefits. The interactive nature of the discussion enabled students to appreciate the complexity of managerial decision-making and the importance of value-based leadership. The resource person also spoke about the relevance of professional ethics for management graduates entering various industries, particularly in healthcare, finance, manufacturing, information technology and service sectors. As part of ASPIRE 2K26 (Ahalia Student Programme for Induction, Professionalism, Innovation, ASM organised a session on Gateway to MBA – A Roadmap for Academic and Career Excellence on 05.08.2026 @ 9.30am and the resource person was Prof. B. Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal & Director, Ahalia School of Management, Palakkad
The session aimed to provide the newly admitted MBA students with a clear understanding of the academic structure, institutional expectations and career opportunities available during the MBA programme. It was designed to help students transition smoothly into postgraduate education and prepare them for professional success.
The speaker provided an overview of the expectations of business organizations at global level, MBA unique attractions, its curriculum, academic regulations, examination system, internship opportunities, industry interactions and placement activities. Students were encouraged to actively participate in classroom discussions, research activities, skill development programmes and co-curricular initiatives to enhance their employability.
He also emphasized the importance of developing communication skills, critical thinking, teamwork and professionalism to succeed in today’s competitive business environment. The session motivated students to begin their MBA journey with confidence and a clear vision for academic excellence and career growth.

As part of ASPIRE 2K26 (Ahalia Student Programme for Induction, Professionalism, Innovation, Responsibility & Excellence), Ahalia School of Management organized a session on “Career Pathway and Professional Growth” for the newly admitted MBA 2026 – 28 Batch on 06 August 2026 at 11:30 a.m. in the ASM Seminar Hall. The resource person was Mr. Vijay Anand V., Anandhamayam, Exzellenz, Coimbatore.
The session focused on helping students understand the importance of career planning, professional development and lifelong learning in building successful careers. He shared valuable insights into career planning and personal growth. He encouraged students to identify their strengths, set realistic career goals and continuously upgrade their knowledge and skills. The speaker explained that professional success depends not only on academic qualifications but also on attitude, adaptability, emotional intelligence, communication skills and ethical behavior. Through practical examples and interactive discussions, students were inspired to embrace challenges as opportunities for learning. The session also stressed the importance of networking, industry exposure, time management and maintaining a positive mind-set throughout one’s professional journey. Day 6 – 05. 08. 2026, Session III- Creating a Drug-Free Campus.

As part of ASPIRE 2K26 (Ahalia Student Programme for Induction, Professionalism, Innovation, Responsibility & Excellence), Ahalia School of Management organized a session on “Creating a Drug-Free Campus ” for the newly admitted MBA 2026 – 28 Batch on 05 Au-gust 2026 at 2.00 pm in the ASM Seminar Hall. The resource person was Mr. Manoj P. S., Preventive Officer, Excise Range Office (ERO), Palakkad. The session aimed to create awareness among students about substance abuse, its harmful effects, and the importance of maintaining a safe, healthy and drug-free campus environment. Mr. Mahesh.T.K and Mr.Ratheesh.A. (Preventive Officers, Excise Dept., Palakkad) were also present.
Mr. Manoj P. S. delivered an informative session on the dangers of drug abuse and addiction. He explained the physical, psychological, social and legal consequences associated with the use of narcotic substances. The speaker discussed common misconceptions regarding drugs and emphasized the need for informed decision-making. Students were educated about the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and the legal implications of drug possession and trafficking. The session encouraged students to support awareness initiatives, avoid peer pressure and seek timely help whenever required. The importance of collective responsibility in creating a healthy campus culture was strongly emphasized. The awareness programme successfully sensitized students to the importance of maintaining a drug-free lifestyle and encouraged them to become responsible ambassadors for a healthy and secure campus community.
Day 7 – 06. 08. 2026, Session I- Relevance of Ayurveda in Modern Healthcare.

As part of ASPIRE 2K26 (Ahalia Student Programme for Induction, Professionalism, Innovation, Responsibility & Excellence), Ahalia School of Management organized a session on “Relevance of Ayurveda in Modern Healthcare” for the newly admitted MBA 2026 – 28 batch on 06 August 2026 at 9.30am in the ASM Seminar Hall. The resource person was Dr. Sandeep Krishnan, Assistant Professor, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College, who shared his expertise on the growing significance of Ayurveda in the contemporary healthcare ecosystem and its relevance for future healthcare management professionals.
Dr. Sandeep began the session by introducing the fundamental principles of Ayurveda, describing it as one of the world’s oldest holistic systems of medicine that focuses on maintaining health through the balance of body, mind and spirit. He explained the concept of preventive healthcare and highlighted how Ayurveda emphasizes healthy living, proper nutrition, lifestyle management and natural healing methods rather than merely treating diseases after they occur. The session also focused on the integration of Ayurveda with modern healthcare. The speaker explained how evidence-based research, technological advancements, quality standards and scientific validation are helping Ayurveda gain wider acceptance across the world. The session concluded with the message that healthcare management professionals of the future must adopt a holistic and patient-centric approach, recognizing the value of both traditional knowledge and modern medical practices.
Day 7 – 06. 08. 2026, Session II- Leadership in Manufacturing – Lessons from Industry.

As part of ASPIRE 2K26 (Ahalia Student Programme for Induction, Professionalism, Innovation, Responsibility & Excellence), Ahalia School of Management organized a session on “Leadership in Manufacturing – Lessons from Industry” for the newly admitted MBA 2026 – 28 batch on 06 August 2026 at 11.30am in the ASM Seminar Hall. The resource person was Mr. Pandiyan Dharmaraj, Plant Manager, Interconnect Technologies Division, Souriau India Private Limited, Eaton Aerospace Group, Coimbatore. Drawing upon his extensive experience in the manufacturing and aerospace sectors, Mr. Pandiyan shared valuable insights into industrial leadership, operational excellence and the competencies required to succeed in today’s highly competitive manufacturing environment.
The session commenced with an overview of the evolution of the manufacturing industry and its transformation through globalization, automation, digital technologies and Industry 4.0. Mr. Pandiyan explained that manufacturing is no longer confined to production alone but has become a strategic function driven by innovation, quality, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. He emphasized that effective leadership is essential in managing these dynamic changes while maintaining operational efficiency and organizational competitiveness. Addressing the MBA students, Mr. Pandiyan highlighted the importance of developing professional competencies such as problem-solving, analytical thinking, teamwork, leadership, time management and adaptability. He encouraged students to strengthen both their technical understanding and interpersonal skills, as organizations today seek managers who can effectively bridge business strategy with operational execution. He also advised students to embrace lifelong learning, continuously upgrade their knowledge and remain open to new technologies and industry practices. The whole session focused on the success stories of Dr. APJ. Abdul Kalam, Dr.Tessi Thomas, Mr.Ratan Tata and Mr. Prakash Iyer. The session concluded with the message that successful leadership in manufacturing requires a combination of technical competence, strategic thinking, people management, ethical values and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Day 7 – 06. 08. 2026, Session III- Digital Transformation, AI in Business & Healthcare.

The session was delivered by Mr. Jayagopi Anthoor, Senior Vice President, AI & Digital Transformation Strategist, Customer Experience (CX) Leader, and AI Researcher. With his rich industry experience in digital innovation and artificial intelligence, Mr. Jayagopi provided students with valuable insights into how emerging technologies are transforming businesses, healthcare organizations and the future of management.
The session commenced with an overview of Digital Transformation, which Mr. Jayagopi described as the integration of digital technologies into every aspect of an organization’s operations, culture and customer engagement. He explained that digital transformation is not mere-ly about adopting new technologies but about reimagining business models, improving operational efficiency and delivering greater value to customers and stakeholders.
A significant part of the session focused on the application of AI in healthcare. Mr. Jayagopi explained how artificial intelligence is revolutionizing healthcare delivery through early dis-ease detection, medical imaging, predictive diagnostics, personalized treatment planning, robotic-assisted surgeries, tele-medicine and hospital management systems. He emphasized that AI supports healthcare professionals by improving accuracy, reducing operational costs, enhancing patient safety and enabling faster clinical decision-making. He also highlighted the role of digital health records, wearable devices and remote patient monitoring in improving healthcare accessibility and efficiency.
The resource person stressed that while technology offers immense opportunities, it must always be implemented responsibly. He discussed the importance of ethical AI, data privacy, cyber security and transparency in the use of digital technologies. He encouraged students to adopt a balanced approach where technological innovation is complemented by ethical leadership, human values and social responsibility.

As part of ASPIRE 2K26 (Ahalia Student Programme for Induction, Professionalism, Innovation, Responsibility & Excellence), Ahalia School of Management organized a session on “Women’s Wellness and Preventive Healthcare” for the newly admitted MBA 2026 – 28 batch on 07 August 2026 at 9.30am in the ASM Seminar Hall. The resource person was Dr. T. Sukruthi, Specialist Obstetrician and Gynecologist, Ahalia Women & Children’s Hospital, Palakkad. The objective of the programme was to create awareness among students about women’s health, preventive healthcare practices and the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle for long-term physical and mental well-being.
The resource person discussed several important aspects of women’s health, including menstrual hygiene, reproductive health, nutritional requirements, lifestyle disorders and common health issues affecting young women. She stressed the importance of awareness, early diagnosis, vaccination and periodic medical consultation in preventing serious illnesses. She also addressed misconceptions related to women’s health and encouraged students to seek professional medical advice whenever required.
Dr. Sukruthi further spoke about the impact of stress, unhealthy food habits, sedentary lifestyles and excessive use of digital devices on overall health. She advised students to maintain a balanced lifestyle by combining healthy eating, regular exercise, mindfulness and effective time management. She also encouraged both male and female students to become responsible advocates of health awareness within their families and society.
The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, during which students clarified their doubts regarding preventive healthcare and healthy lifestyle practices. The programme successfully enhanced students’ awareness of women’s wellness and reinforced the importance of preventive healthcare as an essential component of personal and professional success.
Day 8 – 07. 08. 2026, Session II- Prioritizing Mental Health: The Importance of Mental Health and Counselling.

As part of ASPIRE 2K26 (Ahalia Student Programme for Induction, Professionalism, Innovation, Responsibility & Excellence), Ahalia School of Management organized a session on “ Prioritizing Mental Health: The Importance of Mental Health and Counselling” for the newly admitted MBA 2026 – 28 batch on 07 August 2026 at 11.30am in the ASM Seminar Hall. The resource person was Mr. M. V. Satheesh, Counselling Psychologist, Ahalia Group, Palakkad. The objective of the programme was to create awareness among students about women’s health, preventive healthcare practices and the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle for long-term physical and mental well-being.
Mr. Satheesh began by explaining that mental health is as important as physical health and plays a vital role in an individual’s overall quality of life. He encouraged students to openly discuss emotional challenges without fear or stigma and emphasized that seeking professional support is a sign of strength rather than weakness. The resource person discussed the various causes of stress among students, including academic pressure, career uncertainty, social expectations, financial concerns and personal relationships. He explained how unmanaged stress could affect concentration, decision-making, productivity and interpersonal relationships. Students were introduced to practical techniques for maintaining emotional balance, such as positive thinking, effective communication, relaxation exercises, mindfulness and healthy lifestyle practices. The session included interactive activities and discussions that enabled students to understand the importance of empathy, emotional intelligence and supportive peer relationships. The participants actively interacted with the resource person and shared their perspectives on managing stress during their MBA journey.
Day 8 – 07. 08. 2026, Session III- Prioritizing Mental Health: The Importance of Mental Health and Counselling.

As part of ASPIRE 2K26 (Ahalia Student Programme for Induction, Professionalism, Innovation, Responsibility & Excellence), Ahalia School of Management organized a session on “Music with Motivation: Win the Exam of Life” for the newly admitted MBA 2026 – 28 batch on 07 August 2026 at 2.00 pm in the ASM Seminar Hall. The session was conducted by Mr. Manoj Kammath, Head of Department, Ahalia FM. The programme was designed to motivate newly admitted MBA students by combining the power of music with inspiring life lessons, encouraging them to approach their academic and personal journeys with confidence, enthusiasm and a positive mindset.
Mr. Manoj Kammath began the session by explaining how music has the unique ability to inspire, heal, energize, and influence human emotions. Through a combination of motivational songs, storytelling and real-life experiences, he demonstrated how individuals can overcome obstacles and remain focused on their goals despite challenges. The speaker emphasized that success in life depends not only on academic excellence but also on perseverance, discipline, emotional strength and a positive attitude. He encouraged students to identify their strengths, remain committed to continuous learning and never allow temporary failures to discourage them. Drawing parallels between life’s challenges and examinations, he motivated students to view every obstacle as an opportunity for growth and self-improvement.
Throughout the programme, Mr. Manoj engaged students with energetic musical performances and interactive activities that created a lively and enthusiastic learning atmosphere. He stressed the importance of teamwork, optimism, self-belief and effective communication in building successful careers. The session concluded with an engaging interaction between the resource person and the students. As part of ASPIRE 2K26 (Ahalia Student Programme for Induction, Professionalism, Innovation, Responsibility & Excellence), Ahalia School of Management organized a session on “Entrepreneurship & Design Thinking” for the newly admitted MBA 2026 – 28 batch on 13 August 2026 at 9.30am in the ASM Seminar Hall. The resource person was Ms. Vinitha Joseph, Sr. Technology Fellow, Kerala Start-Up Mission (KSUM). The session was designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and to develop an innovative and problem-solving mindset through the principles of design thinking.
Ms. Vinitha Joseph provided students with an engaging introduction to entrepreneurship and innovation. She emphasized that entrepreneurship is not merely about starting a business but also about identifying problems, creating value and developing solutions that address real needs. The session highlighted the importance of creativity, experimentation, adaptability and calculated risk-taking in entrepreneurial ventures. Students were encouraged to observe their surroundings and identify opportunities for innovation.
The resource person also introduced the students to Design Thinking, explaining its role as a human-centered approach to innovation. The importance of understanding the needs, expectations and experiences of users before developing a product or service was emphasized. The session also helped students understand the relevance of innovation and entrepreneurship in the contemporary business environment, particularly in the context of startups, technology-driven businesses and emerging market opportunities.
The session provided the newly admitted MBA students with valuable insights into innovation, entrepreneurship and human-centered problem solving. As part of ASPIRE 2K26 (Ahalia Student Programme for Induction, Professionalism, Innovation, Responsibility & Excellence), Ahalia School of Management organized a session on ” Entrepreneurial Talk ” for the newly admitted MBA 2026 – 28 batch on 13 August 2026 at 11.30 am in the ASM Seminar Hall.The resource person was Mr. Amal C Shaji, Indian Social Entrepreneur and Ad-Tech Professional, Co-founder & Director, Amliré Private Limited. Mr. Amal C Shaji shared valuable insights into the entrepreneurial journey and the changing nature of business in the contemporary environment. Drawing from his experience as a social entrepreneur and ad-tech professional, he discussed the importance of identifying meaningful opportunities and developing solutions that create value for customers and society. The session emphasized that entrepreneurship requires more than a good business idea. Students were encouraged to develop qualities such as initiative, perseverance, adaptability, creativity, confidence and willingness to learn from failure.
The resource person also highlighted the role of technology and digital platforms in creating new entrepreneurial opportunities. The changing business environment and the growing importance of innovation were discussed in the context of modern start-ups and emerging enterprises. Students were encouraged to look beyond traditional career paths and consider entrepreneurship as a viable professional option. As part of ASPIRE 2K26 (Ahalia Student Programme for Induction, Professionalism, Innovation, Responsibility & Excellence), Ahalia School of Management organized a session on ” Cyber Safety & Digital Responsibility ” for the newly admitted MBA 2026 – 28 batch on 13 August 2026 at 2.00 pm. The resource persons were Mr. Syam Praveen K, Civil Police Officer, Cyber Crime Police Station, Palakkad Mr. Subin U, Civil Police Officer, Cyber Crime Police Station, Palakkad.
The session focused on creating awareness among students about cyber threats, safe digital practices, responsible use of technology and the growing importance of cyber security in personal, academic and professional environments. Mr. Syam Praveen K and Mr. Subin U provided students with practical insights into the rapidly changing cyber environment. They explained how increased dependence on smartphones, social media, online transactions and digital platforms has also resulted in the emergence of various forms of cybercrime. The re-source persons discussed the importance of being cautious while sharing personal information online and highlighted the risks associated with suspicious links, fraudulent messages, fake profiles, phishing attempts, online scams and unauthorized access to digital accounts.
The session highlighted that cyber security is not merely a technical responsibility but also an important aspect of individual and organizational responsibility. For future managers, awareness of cyber risks is particularly significant because businesses increasingly depend on digital systems, online communication, electronic transactions and technology-enabled operations. The speakers also encouraged students to exercise caution while using social media and other online platforms and to understand the potential consequences of irresponsible digital behavior. The programme successfully reinforced the importance of responsible digital citizenship, cyber security awareness and ethical technology usage, thereby contributing to the overall objective of ASPIRE 2K26 to prepare students to become responsible, professional and future-ready managers.
Day 10 – 14. 08. 2026, Session I- Industrial & Experiential Learning Visit.

As part of Aspire 2K26 – Ahalia Student Programme for Induction, Professionalism, Innovation, Responsibility & Excellence, an Industrial and Experiential Learning Visit was organized for the newly admitted MBA students of the 2026–28 batch. The visit was designed to provide students with meaningful exposure to sustainable practices and to connect classroom learning with a real-world business and environmental context.
“From Campus Food Waste to Revenue: Exploring Sustainable Waste Management through a Real-World Case Study” The experiential learning visit was scheduled for 14 August 2026 at 10:00 am at Thanima Farm Life, Palakkad. The visit focused on the concept of transforming campus food waste into useful resources and potential revenue streams. Students were encouraged to examine waste not merely as an environment.
Day 11 – 17. 08. 2026 – Two-Day Skill and Personality Development Programme – Day 1

A skill and personality development programme was organized for the students of Ahalia School of Management on 17.08.2026 @ 9.30am in ASM Seminar Hall with Mr. A.Akhilesh, Skill Development Executive, ASAP Kerala Government who served as the resource person. The session focused on developing essential employability and professional skills among students and was conducted in an interactive and engaging manner.
The major topics covered during the forenoon session were Interview Skills, Presentation Skills and Self-Confidence. Mr. Akhilesh explained effective techniques for facing interviews, communicating ideas clearly, presenting oneself professionally and building confidence. He also highlighted the importance of body language, communication, preparation and positive attitude in professional situations. An Auction Game was conducted as an experiential learning activity, which helped students develop decision-making, communication, team-work and strategic thinking skills. The interactive nature of the session encouraged active participation and provided students with practical insights that can be applied in interviews, presentations and workplace situations. The session was highly informative and beneficial in enhancing the overall employability skills of the students. The afternoon session focused on the importance of effective communication in academic, professional and personal life. The trainer discussed various aspects of communication, including verbal and non-verbal communication, active listening, clarity of expression, body language and interpersonal communication. Students were encouraged to actively participate in practical activities and interactive exercises to improve their communication abilities. The session helped students understand the importance of communicating confidently and effectively in interviews, presentations, group discussions and workplace situations. Overall, the session was informative, engaging and useful in enhancing the students’ communication and interpersonal skills. The session came to an end by 4.00 pm.












Day 12 – 18. 08. 2026 – Two-Day Skill and Personality Development Programme – Day 2

The Day 2 session of the Skill and Personality Development Programme was conducted on 18 August 2026 at the ASM Seminar Hall with Mr. A. Akhilesh, Skill Development Executive, ASAP Govt. of Kerala as the resource person. The session commenced at 9.30 AM and focused on strengthening the employability and professional skills of the students.
The major activities covered during the session were Group Discussion, Interview Skills and Resume Writing through Mock Sessions. The Group Discussion activity provided students with an opportunity to improve their communication, critical thinking, teamwork and ability to express ideas confidently. The session on Interview Skills familiarized students with im-portant techniques for attending interviews, including effective communication, body lan-guage, confidence and appropriate responses. The Resume Writing and Mock Sessions provided hands-on practice in preparing effective resumes and participating in simulated recruitment situations. The interactive and practical nature of the programme encouraged active participation among students and helped them gain greater confidence in facing future placement and career opportunities. Overall, the Day 2 session was highly informative, engaging and beneficial for the students’ career and personality development.
