Ahalia School of Management organised a talk on Union Budget 2025- An Evaluation on February 5th, 2025 in ASM Seminar hall at 2.00 p.m. The program was started with a welcome address by Mrs.Manju. Followed by Union Budget talk by Mr.Ajith Sankar.R.N , Assistant Professor, ASM. He gave an introduction about the Origin of Budget in India. He also emphasised about the sectors which are given importance such as Agriculture, India Post, MSME etc. He listed the highlights of the Union Budget 2025 with examples indicating the revised tax slab rate changes under new tax regime. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs.Jyothis Racheal Mathews. The students actively participated in the session and got their doubts clarified and the program ended at 4.00pm.
