ASM celebrated World Social Justice Day on 25.02.2025 at 11.30 a.m. Principal and Director Prof.(Dr). B.Vijayachandran Pillai welcomed the gathering and gave an insight on the relevance of sustainable business practices in service organisations. Thereafter, the resource person Mr.Ajith Sankar.R.N, Assistant Professor has delivered a talk on Sustainable Business Practices – A Case study of Aravind Eye Care System. In his presentation, he stated that key areas of sustainable practices of the hospital include eco-friendly services, conduct of outreach programmes to the poor and needy community , followed by a video presentation on history and the success story of Aravind Eye Hospital which was an eye opener for the students to serve the community. The session ended at 1.00 p.m.
