The Ahalia School of Management celebrated “World Entrepreneurs Day” on 21st August 2025. The event aimed to highlight the significance of entrepreneurship in economic development, to inspire budding entrepreneurs among students and to honor and respect the entrepreneurs for their creative and innovative contributions to the society. The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Prof.Dr.B.Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal & Director. He emphasized the role of entrepreneurship in generating employment, fostering innovation and driving national progress. He also motivated the students to develop entrepreneurial mind-sets and to view challenges as opportunities. The highlight of the event was the Chief Guest Address by Ms. Aysha Ruby, CEO of Ruby Ventures Exports, Palakkad. Drawing from her entrepreneurial journey, she shared valuable insights on resilience, innovation and global business opportunities. She encouraged students to pursue their passions with determination and adopt ethical practices in business. Her inspiring words resonated deeply with the audience, especially aspiring entrepreneurs. The students and staff interacted with the resource person for clarifying their queries. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, dignitaries, faculty members and students who contributed to the success of the celebration. Overall, the World Entrepreneurs’ Day celebration at ASM was a meaningful and motivating event that instilled entrepreneurial spirit among the participants and reinforced the institution’s commitment to nurturing future business leaders.
