Model Comprehensive Viva-Voce for MBA Final Semester Students

Ahalia School of Management (ASM) conducted a Model Comprehensive Viva-Voce for the outgoing Fourth Semester MBA students on 16 July 2026 from 9:30 AM onwards. The programme was organized with the objective of familiarizing students with the pattern and expectations of the university comprehensive viva examination and strengthening their confidence before the final assessment.

The Principal & Director, Prof. Dr. B. Vijayachandran Pillai, along with all faculty members, served as the panel members of the mock viva board. The session was designed to closely replicate the actual university viva environment, where students were evaluated on both their major project work and the core subjects studied throughout the MBA programme. During the interaction, the panel members posed questions related to the project objectives, research methodology, data analysis, findings, recommendations and practical implications. Students were also assessed on their conceptual understanding of management disciplines, analytical ability, communication skills and application of theoretical knowledge to real-world business situations. Following each presentation, the panel offered constructive feedback and valuable suggestions for improvement, highlighting individual strengths while identifying areas requiring further preparation. The interactive nature of the session encouraged students to think critically, articulate their ideas with clarity and respond confidently under examination conditions. The Model Comprehensive Viva-Voce proved to be an enriching academic exercise that provided students with realistic exposure to the university examination process.
