On 21.08.2026, Ahalia School of Management (ASM) organized an Onam Celebration at the campus with great enthusiasm and festive spirit. The programme was formally inaugurated by lighting the lamp Prof. (Dr.) B.Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal & Director at 10.00am followed by falicitation address by Dr. Manju M, Mr. Akhil P and Ms.Deepa.
The celebrations emphasised the rich cultural heritage of Kerala and to promote unity, togetherness and a sense of belonging among the students and staff. Onam, Kerala’s traditional harvest festival, is associated with the homecoming of the legendary King Mahabali and is celebrated through various cultural programmes. The celebration began with the preparation and decoration of a beautiful Pookkalam by the students. Students and faculty members participated in the programme wearing traditional Kerala attire, adding colour and charm to the occasion. Various Onam games and cultural activities were organized, encouraging active participation and team spirit among the students. The celebrations also included traditional songs and cultural performances, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere on the campus. The programme concluded with an Onasadya, bringing students and staff together to share a traditional festive meal. The celebration provided an opportunity for everyone to appreciate Kerala’s cultural traditions while strengthening friendship, cooperation and unity among the members of the Ahalia School of Management family. The active participation of students and staff made the programme a grand success and reflected the true spirit of Onam.
