The Ahalia School of Management has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CRG Academy of Finance, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala (authorised Education Provider of Financial Panning Standards Board Ltd, India (FPSB) under the Certified Financial Planning (CFP) Academic Collaborations initiative on Monday 11/03/2024@ 10.30 a.m. The MoU was signed by Prof. (Dr.) B.Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal & Director, on behalf of Ahalia School of Management in the presence of Mr. E.P.B Rejithan (Vice President, Ahalia Academics) and Mr. Prasanth P, Director – Administration, on behalf of CRG Academy of Finance in the presence of Mr. C.R. Gopinathan Nair (Managing Director, CRG Academy of Finance), Mr. Rajesh Singh (Senior Manager, Business Development, South, FPSB Institute India Pvt.Ltd, Mumbai) and Mr.Jagannathan, Faculty, CRG Academy. The objective of the MOU is to integrate the Certified Financial Planning (CFP) Professional education course with MBA programme offered by Ahalia School of Management. It also aims at bring together the efforts of the two Institutions for imparting knowledge and enhancing the skills of students and academicians of both the Institutions. The FPSB India is the leading Financial Planning Body in the Country and dedicated to establishing, upholding and promoting professional standards in Financial Planning throughout India. The integration of MBA course with CFP education Programme helps the students to achieve enhanced employability in financial institutions, Wealth Management Firms, Insurance Companies etc. Integrating CFP education Programme also provides opportunity for collaborations with financial industry leaders which leads to internship opportunities, guest lectures from industry experts and potential academic projects.
