A one-day digital workshop on “Art of Writing & Publishing Research Papers in Scholarly Journals in Social Science” was conducted on 23rd June 2021 from 2pm- 4pm through Google Meet. The workshop commenced with a prayer. This was followed by the welcome address of Dr. Sangeetha P. (Asst. Prof., ASM). Thereafter, she introduced the resource person to the participants with a brief introduction about his academic and research contributions and invited the resource person Prof. (Dr.) B. Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal & Director, ASM for delivering the talk on the area. The resource person narrated the importance of writing and publishing the research papers, selection process of a good scholarly journal as per UGC regulations, the format and requirements of a good research paper and the ethics to be followed by the writers while publishing the paper. The session was followed by an interaction with the participants. A feedback was also arranged to get the response of the participants about the presentation. A total of 60 participants attended the session. Ms. Jisha O. (Asst. Prof., ASM) proposed the vote of thanks to all the participants and the resource person. The meeting concluded with a National Anthem.
