Ahalia School of Management celebrated World Day against Child Labour on 12 June 2023 at 4.45 p.m. The programme started with a prayer by Ms. Nayanthara. Ms. Anaswara welcomed all the participants to the session. Prof. Dr. B. Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal and Director, ASM presided over the session. In his presidential, he mentioned about the reasons for child labour in our country and stressed the need for observing the rules of the Child Labour as per the Child Labour Prohibition and Regulation Act, 1986. The resource person Mr. Sunil K.M, District Labour Officer (Enforcement), Palakkad discussed the different areas of Child Labour in our country in an interactive manner. The feedback about the session was given by Mr. Midhun and Miss. Liya. Ms. Farsana Noushad Kottakkal proposed the vote of thanks and the session came to an end @ 6.15 p.m.
