Ahalia Group Educational Institutions in association with Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and Rural Entrepreneurship Development Cell under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, Institute’s Innovation Council and ASET Alumni Association is organising a Panel Discussion on 23 December 2020 from 4 to 6 p.m. on the topic ‘Educated Youth in Agriculture: Opportunities & Threats’.
Students and Staff of Ahalia School of management organized online Christmas Day celebration on Friday 18th December 2020. The event was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) B Vijayachandran Pillai, Principal and Director ASM. Mr. Sreeranjan Menon (Assistant Prof.) was the Master of Ceremony and delivered the welcome address. Felicitation address is delivered by Dr.Dhanu P. (Assistant Professor), Dr.Sangeetha P. (Assistant Professor) and Ms. Jisha O. (Assistant Professor). Later on all the students of MBA and MBA-HCM engaged in various cultural and fun activities. The program lasted from 02:00 to 04:00pm.
MBA is a unique program which emphasis on both technical knowledge and personality development. In an inspiring talk Dr. B. Vijayachandran Pillai (Principal and Director, ASM) shed light on various career opportunities for different MBA specializations – Marketing, HR, Finance, IT and Tourism. MBA-HCM is an exclusive program tailor made for catering the needs of health care industry, which is the largest sector in India. Later on in his talk Director emphasized on the importance soft skill and personality development to excel in career. All the students of ASM (MBA and MBA-HCM) participated in the event. Faculty members and staff of ASM also attended the talk. The event was held on 11-12-2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 01:00 p.m.
To create awareness among youth about the endless opportunities Rural Entrepreneurship offers, an online seminar was organised by the Ahalia Group Academic Institutions in association with Rural Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, under Ministry of Education , Government of India and NSS unit, Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology (ASET) on 27 November, 2020. The event coordinators were Prof. Preeja, Prof. Vijitha Khan, ASET and Mrs. Bindu Valoor, Manager-Academics Outreach. 240 participants attended the event via Google Meet. The resource person, Mr. Manas Madhu, briefed about the reason why he chose to be a rural entrepreneur. He also spoke about various challenges he had to face and how he overcame them. He encouraged youth to enter into this area as huge opportunities are awaiting them.
To celebrate International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, an online panel discussion was organised by the Ahalia Group Academic Institutions in association with Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, under Ministry of Education , Government of India and IEEE Women In Engineering(WIE) SB AG, Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology (ASET) on 25 November, 2020. The event coordinators were Mrs. Kripa K. M., HOD, Department of Civil Engineering, ASET and Mrs. Bindu Valoor, Manager-Academics Outreach. 250 participants attended the event via Google Meet and 300 participants watched the YouTube live streaming. The eminent panelists gave awareness about domestic violence, the importance of self awareness among women to eradicate violence against them and the endless opportunities women have if they choose to excel.
Ahalia School of Management organised a webinar on the topic Positive Attitude for Professional Excellence on 20 November 2020 to motivate the students to inculcate the habit of positive thinking. The resource person was Mr. Praveen S. Madhavan, CEO & MD, Triple N Axiomatic Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and GIMS Academy, Performance Coach, NLP Practitioner.
